THE SOLE STEWARD OF MEAT IN DUE SEASON
                                            Charles Taze Russell

Editorial Preface:  Charles Taze Russell was the founder of the organization (about 1881) now called "The Watchtower and Bible Tract Society," also called the Watchtower Society. Its adherents call themselves Jehovah's Witnesses. Russell died in 1916

Volume VII of  Studies In The Scriptures (published in 1918 posthumously by Pastor Russell, page 6 of the Preface), titled  "The Finished Mystery," page 483 says,  "Pastor Russell, as a member of the Great High Priest and as Christ's Representative in the world, is the sole steward of meat in due season...."

THE TESTS: Matt.7:15-20 "...you shall know them by their fruits..."
Russell's Divorce: Court  records from Brooklyn, NY in 1896 show that Russell's wife divorced him on charges of incest and adultery.  She won.

Miracle Wheat: Newspaper clippings from the Brooklyn Daily Eagle (available in Brooklyn library) show that on 11/1/1916, Charles Taze Russell advertised Miracle Wheat at $1.00 per pound.(an exorbitant price)  Government tests later showed the wheat to be below standard.

The Greek Scholar?:  Russell once filed a suit against a Baptist preacher from Hamilton, Ontario.  In court, it was proven the Russell (a self-proclaimed Greek scholar) could not even pronounce the letters of the Greek alphabet, much less read Greek.

The World Wide Evangelist?:  In 1912, Russell went on a world tour and had sermons published in many places as paid advertisements.  The 2/19/1912 issue of the Brooklyn Daily Eagle had proof that Russell never preached the sermons as he claimed. He stated he had preached them before thousands but witnesses who were on the same cruise refuted it. They were imaginary sermons and Russell was again proven to be a liar.

Editorial Comment: Does Charles Taze Russell sound like someone God appointed? Would his "meat" feed you or likely poision you?
